Collection Of Your Information
We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect via the Application depends on the content and materials you use, and includes:
When you register, you provide your name, and optionally your country and/or “home golf club”. In countries with a “Golf ID”, you also provide that ID. (Currently, only Sweden.) This information is publicly visible, so that other users can search for you when creating a round of golf.
Other information you enter during registration, is only visible to you. This is stored on a secured data server, only released when you enter the password you create for your account. Certain trusted employees of Mapping Industries could access that information, but will only do so as necessary for routine maintenance of the data server, or in response to a request by you.
When you play a round of golf, you decide whether that round is visible to everyone, only your friends, or only yourself.
Information our servers automatically collect when you access the Application, such as your native actions that are integral to the Application, including liking, re-blogging, or replying to a post, as well as other interactions with the Application and other users via server log files.
The Application may access your Facebook basic account information, but only after asking and receiving your permission to do so, including your name, email, gender, birthday, current city, and profile picture URL, as well as other information that you choose to make public. We may also request access to other permissions related to your account, such as friends, check-ins, and likes, and you may choose to grant or deny us access to each individual permission. For more information regarding Facebook permissions, refer to the Facebook Permissions Reference page.
