Within "Guide Mode", you can hold the phone in different orientations to change views automatically. Utilize upright, flat and landscape views to see every detail of the course.
Upright View: Hold the phone upright (portrait) to see a 3D tilted view of the hole. You can pinch to zoom, and press and drag to pan.
Flat View: Hold the phone flat (parallel to ground) to see a top down view of the hole. From the tee, flat view automatically zooms to the landing zone. You can pinch to zoom, and press and drag to pan.
Landscape View: Rotate the phone 90 degrees (landscape) to see the landing zone in perspective. From the tee, landscape view automatically zooms to the landing zone. You can pinch to zoom in, and press and drag to pan.
When approaching the green: As you move within approx. 75 meters of the green, the view will automatically switch to "flat view" (top down). This is done for two reasons. First, it enlarges the green area to fill the screen of the phone, and help you see in greater detail without having to zoom. Second, it aids in shot logging on and around the green, when you are likely to have chips or putts close together. If you are manually placing putts (longpress), it reduces the need to zoom. You can still pinch to zoom, and press and drag to pan.
