There are 3 ways to play with LiveCaddie during your round. At the bottom of the screen there are 3 circle icons labeled "Score Mode", "Green Mode" and "Guide Mode". "Guide Mode" can be toggled between "2D" and "3D".
You can toggle between modes at any time during your round. To switch between modes, simply press on the circle icon that you would like to select. The highlighted circle icon indicates the mode you are currently using.
No matter what mode you choose, certain features remain fixed at the top and bottom of the screen. Those features are:
Enter Score: Select enter score to record your score(s) for the current hole
Scorecard: Select to view your scorecard for the entire round
Leader board: Select to view the leader board (if you are playing in a tournament)
Flyover: Select to see a 3D video flyover for the current hole
Help: Select to open the LiveCaddie help center, and see a help tutorial for this page
Menu: Select to open the In-Round Menu
Distance to: See the distance to the green or pin, from your location
Log shot: Press to log shot from current location, press and drag up to change club
Score Mode
Using score mode is the most simple way to play with LiveCaddie. From this mode, you can enter your score for the current hole, enter/change a score for a previous hole, change holes, see your distance to the green, log shots, see your current score, toggle to display your current score as "to par", "to hcp", and "pts".
Your current hole is the hole number shown furthest to the right in the hole number row. In the image below, the player is on hole #5. Previous holes are shown to the left of this number.
To change holes: simply swipe left or right in the section with hole number, par and inx. (note: after you enter a score for the current hole, app automatically switches to next hole)
To enter a score: select the pencil icon below your current hole, or, select the "enter score" icon in the top left corner of the screen.
To change a score for a previous hole: either select the score you entered for that hole (if visible), or swipe to make the hole you wish to change score for the current hole, and either select the score directly, or select the "enter score" icon in the top left corner of the screen.
To change how your score is displayed, toggle between 3 options:
To Par: shows your score relative to par
To Hcp: shows your score relative to your handicap
Pts: shows how many points you have scored
To log shots: press on the "log shot" icon (lower right corner), or press and hold the "log shot" icon, drag up to change club, and release to log a shot from your current location.
To view flyover: select the "flyover" icon to see a 3D video flyover of the current hole.
Distance setup: to change the "distance to" or change "distance unit" (m/yd), press the distance value in bottom left corner of the screen, and select from distance setup menu
Green Mode
Using Green Mode is a great way to see distances to the front, center, and back of the green. As you move around on the hole, the distances update instantly, are displayed in large font, and are easy to read. From this mode, you can enter your score for the current hole, enter/change a score for a previous hole, change holes, see your distance to the front/center/back of green, and log shots.
To change holes: tap the hole number (displayed in the top left corner), and select a new hole from the menu. (note: after you enter a score for the current hole, app automatically switches to next hole)
To enter a score for the current hole: select the "enter score" icon (top left corner).
To change score for a previous hole: tap the hole number, select the hole number you wish to change score from the menu, then select the "enter score" icon (top left corner).
To log shots: press on the "log shot" icon (lower right corner), or press and hold the "log shot" icon, drag up to change club, and release to log a shot from your current location.
To view flyover: select the "flyover" icon to see a 3D video flyover of the current hole.

Guide Mode (3D)
Guide Mode (3D) is the pinnacle of the LiveCaddie app, allowing you to see a 3D digital course guide for each hole. Every detail of the hole is represented with vivid graphics. You can measure out/in to any point on the hole from your position, and see dynamic out measurements that update automatically as you move around the course.
To change holes: Swipe across the screen to change holes. Swipe from right to left to advance to the next hole. Swipe from left to right to see the previous hole. Alternatively, tap the hole number (displayed in the top left corner), and select a new hole from the menu. (note: after you enter a score for the current hole, app automatically switches to next hole)
To enter a score for the current hole: select the "enter score" icon (top left corner).
To change score for a previous hole: tap the hole number, select the hole number you wish to change score from the menu, then select the "enter score" icon (top left corner).
To measure: press on your current location (cross hairs), then drag to see out/in measurement to any point on the hole from your position.
To log shots: press on the "log shot" icon (lower right corner), or press and hold the "log shot" icon, drag up to change club, and release to log a shot from your current location.
To manually change location: long press (press and hold) on your current location for 3 seconds, then drag to desired position.
To view flyover: select the "flyover" icon to see a 3D video flyover of the current hole.
Distance setup: to change the "distance to" or change "distance unit" (m/yd), press the distance value in bottom left corner of the screen, and select from distance setup menu
Zoom and Pan: Pinch (2 fingers) to zoom in/out. Press and drag anywhere on screen to pan
Upright View: Hold phone upright (perpendicular to ground, vertical) to see hole in 3D view. You can pinch to zoom and pan to see other areas of the hole in this view.
Flat View: Hold phone flat (parallel to ground, horizontal) to see hole in flat view (top down). It will automatically zoom to the landing zone for your next shot, you can pinch to zoom and pan to see other areas of the hole in this view.
Landscape View: Rotate the phone 90 degrees (from vertical) to see landing zone in perspective.
Guide Mode (2D)
Guide Mode (2D) is an alternative to Guide Mode (3D), allowing you to see a 2D digital course guide for each hole in high contrast. You can measure out/in to any point on the hole from your position, and see dynamic out measurements that update automatically as you move around the course.
